Request account or personal-data deletion
Windsporter is operated by Click Theory Ltd. You can ask us to close your Windsporter account, delete your profile and listings, or remove personal information associated with your account, including information received through Facebook sign-in.
How to make a request
- Email sean@clicktheory.ca with the subject Windsporter account or data deletion. You can also call 587-705-0777 and ask for Windsporter’s privacy contact.
- Tell us the email address or username associated with your Windsporter account and whether you want to close the entire account or delete specific information. Sending the request from the account’s email address helps us verify ownership.
- We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and protect other members. Do not send your password, payment details or government identification in an ordinary email.
We will confirm receipt, explain any information needed to process the request, and respond within the time required by applicable law.
What happens to your information
We delete or de-identify information that is no longer needed. Limited records may need to remain for legal, security, moderation, dispute or contest-administration purposes. Backup copies are removed through the normal backup lifecycle. We will explain any applicable retention limits when handling your request.
Closing your account or removing a listing can affect contest eligibility. Messages or public information another person has already received, saved or copied may remain with them.
Facebook sign-in
Removing Windsporter from your Facebook connected apps stops that connection but does not by itself close your Windsporter account or remove information already held by Windsporter. Use the request steps above if you also want us to delete your account or associated data.
